Its time to hit Summit Point again!

Okay... so its not racing - but I hear that track days are the shizznits.

The roster so far:

Andy - R1 and Dallas CBR600RR (of Catspit.net - more track day info over there) , Paul - Duc 999, Crazy J - R6 and myself on the SV700 Ratcatcher.

I can't wait to get out there and goof around!

Cuttin' up Summit Point main on April 25th - A Monday no less...

For those of you who haven't been there - Summit is a twisty little track - despised by some, loved by others. Yes there are concrete "traction" strips sprinkled around... and people are afraid of the wall waiting at the (unintended) exit of turn 4. If you want my 2 cents - I had (have) a lot more trouble with turn 3 - a blind over-the-hill off camber that always provokes a little pucker in my sphink! I love turn 4 (on an SV) because you can just charge it!

Little bikes kick ass here so it will be EXTRA entertaining to watch Andy tiptoe his nuclear warbike around the track. (A - I'm just teasin' - you're going to have a ... BLAST)!

For track day details - check out:

www.nesba.com

The days are filling up fast - so if you want in - pony up and get on it!

Stay tuned for a full report post track day.

I can drink like 300 of these in one sitting. Burp. Posted by Hello

Here's the death of an Exit3DC birthday party (for Handfull). We glued R2B2's eyes shut. (L to R: R2B, Cassie Fault, 'Handfull', p-Hoodie) Posted by Hello

Here's Pebble with his rat bike (foreground). Nice tire. Is that made out of coal? Posted by Hello

This poor bastard passed out at Cassie Fault's party last weekend. Bwahaahahahaha. Posted by Hello

the wind promises something will occur
its greatest and smallest offering, tranquillity
is the province of those content and inequity
latent in its specious and glorious grandeur
a promise of sublime change and thoughts unfinished
sanguinary violence becalmed, leaves dreams undiminished

Someone stole my sippy cup. Posted by Hello
This week is starting off really badly.

Pebble and I hit 211 Saturday. I was on about 3.5 hours of sleep thanks to FatherKevin's b-day party and a house party at Cassie Fault's. Pebble wasn't out for the second-half because, he says, he had the trots.
Before leaving town, we hit Five Guys for burgers. After lunch, we headed out of town via Georgetown (Pebble usually on one wheel) eventually making it to 211 by about 3 p.m.
It was great. The road was clear of any salt or sand, and we didn't see any po po.
Pebble's managed to turn my beloved SV into a really ugly rat bike. It was far from perfect before, but now it's got mix-matched wheels and tan paint globs all over it. Oh, and you can see the inside of the tachometer now, yet, somehow it still works.
Traffic on the way in was it's usually sucky self, but it was so worth it to get on the bike and get out of town...
Oh, pictures coming as soon as I can get Picasa and Hello to work. Wasn't working last night.

Dang, I haven't posted up to this damn blog in a long-ass time, but that's about to change -- in a big way.

We're bringing in new members, probably more girls (and not just to hold umbrellas), and expect a link on here at some time soon allowing you to contact us regarding purchasing a t-shirt and maybe even some posters with our cool artwork on them.

Also, much of Exit3DC is heading to Leguna Seca in July to watch Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards smoke everyone else on the MotoGP grid. My plan is to come back with lots of hilarious stories and photos to post right here on this website.

What else...

it's 60 degrees in the DC area today, so I got to ride the R6 into work today. Some donkey walked out in the street in front of my bike today, so I honked at him to get out of the way. The asshole got into his car, and buzzed my shoulder as I was sitting at a traffic light. Dude nearly hit me. I gave chase, and the bastard tried to pin me into a roll-off container sitting on the side of the street. At that point, I just got around his crazy ass, and put a couple cars between he and I. People are such assholes. Why the hell would you play around with a 4,000 pound vehicle like that around a motorcyclist? He was driving a big black SUV for fookssake.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Back to a more positive note, riding season is back upon us, so let the Exit3DC shenanigans begin...

Oh, and Happy Birthday to R2B2, Father Kevin and Alycia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And welcome to the crew, Paul and Alycia (new profiles to be posted soon).
